Cook at SiS LVM-hem Hessleby

SiS, the National Board of Institutional Care, is responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for young people and adults with complex psychosocial problems. At SiS LVM-hem Hessleby, located in a beautiful forest environment just outside Mariannelund, we welcome men with substance abuse issues. We are now looking for a cook who can prepare nutritious and delicious meals for our clients. As a cook with us, you become an important part of a place for change and development.

Job Description

In the kitchen at SiS LVM-hem Hessleby, we prepare lunch and dinner for 34 clients across four departments. We strive to cook as much food as possible from scratch and tailor the meals to the clients' needs. As a cook, you work in a team with other kitchen staff and ensure to create a homely dining environment for the clients.

Qualifications

• Educational background in restaurant and large-scale kitchen
• Good knowledge of hygiene regulations and self-control
• Ability to communicate in Swedish verbally and in writing, as well as computer literacy
• Driver's license (B)

Experience in cooking for youth with special needs and understanding of various functional variations are advantageous. Personal qualities such as commitment, communicative skills, and responsibility are important for the role.
