Your role with us

As a Controller, you will have a varied and challenging role with a main focus on production and procurement issues, but also including analysis and support outside these areas. Your overall goal is to create a cost-effective production by analyzing and presenting financial results and plans.

You will have regular contact with the Factory, Production, and Procurement Managers.

Your main responsibilities

  • Responsible for monthly financial statements, including reasonableness assessments of consumption figures, production costs, and inventory reconciliations
  • Involved in the analysis of decision-making basis for investments
  • Drive budget and forecasting work
  • Drive improvement work within your area of responsibility


The location for this role is at our head office in Jönköping, but there may be travel to our factories around the country. You will report to the Finance Manager.

We would like you to have

  • A university degree with a focus on economics, preferably with a focus on financial management.
  • Several years of relevant work experience including basic knowledge of monthly financial statements, analysis, and reporting.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, and preferably experience working in other systems, such as business systems and forecasting tools.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is also a merit if you have experience from the manufacturing industry.

Scandbio is part of the LEAG group and a market leader in Scandinavia in sales and manufacturing of wood pellets and powder for energy, heating, animal husbandry, and cooking. Our products are 100% renewable and used by combined heat and power producers, manufacturing industry, public entities, and consumers. The main market is Sweden, but our customers are also in the rest of the Baltic Sea region.

Scandbio's operations are characterized by responsibility for people and the environment. You will meet our 130 employees at the offices in Jönköping, in the five Swedish factories, and in the factory in Latvia. Together, we have a capacity of 500,000 tons of biofuels and a turnover of over 1 billion SEK.
