Investigator/Board Secretary for the Children and Education Administration
We at the Children and Education Administration are now looking for a dedicated and structured investigator/board secretary. We are passionate about laying the foundation for children's and students' lifelong learning, and your expertise is an important part of that work. You will be part of the central quality and development department that supports the organization in quality work in various ways. Your workplace will be at the City Hall. Job Responsibilities
The board secretary role involves responsibility for the administration of the political decision-making process at the administration. This includes investigating and preparing various matters, compiling invitations, participating in meetings, and preparing minutes. You provide support to officials and the board's politicians. You also have an overall responsibility for the administrative calendar, schedule, and ensure that internal communication in various case handling is done correctly.
The board secretary role is complemented by other tasks that, depending on competence, may include administrative tasks and investigative work supporting both the board's and office's operations and goals. Your role also includes registrar tasks and archiving.
The work at the administration is governed by legislation and municipal policy documents, and we would like you, together with the quality and development manager, to support the administration in legal matters such as document management and GDPR.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a university degree in a relevant field, such as social science, political science, public administration, law, or equivalent education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.
We prefer candidates with experience in investigative assignments in the public sector, preferably related to schools and preschools. We prefer that you have worked in the public sector and are familiar with the legislation that is the basis for our area of operation, such as the municipal law, administrative law, and the public access and secrecy act.
As the work involves handling and producing formal texts, it is crucial that you have a good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. You have good computer skills and digital competence. You are structured in your work approach.
As a person, you have a professional attitude, are service-oriented, and have good collaboration skills.
