As our new Buyer, you will be a key player in developing our strategic supplier relationships and creating a solid foundation for our purchasing processes. You will help drive the work forward, optimize our collaborations, and find new suppliers that strengthen our growth. Your role is crucial for us to achieve success in our projects and to create long-term solutions that benefit both our production and our goals.

Orwak is a world-leading player in compression and baling solutions for solid waste at the source. We develop solutions for sorting and compressing recyclable materials, contributing to increased efficiency, a cleaner environment, and a better working environment, as well as leading to the best possible economy in waste management. Orwak's headquarters and modern production unit are located in Sävsjö, Småland, Sweden. We have been developing and manufacturing compression equipment since 1971.

Focus in your role

In this role, you will closely collaborate with Supply, R&D, after-sales, and our suppliers to ensure an optimal supply chain. You will:

• Manage supplier responsibilities together with others in the purchasing department and work on developing our suppliers.
• Find new suppliers and be a driving force in negotiating agreements that secure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Participate in building long-term strategies and risk-eliminate our Supply Chain to minimize disruptions in production.
• Be part of our group's larger purchasing collaborations and drive our work towards common goals.

If we may wish

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in strategic purchasing within the manufacturing industry and who has been part of a transformation journey. You are accustomed to negotiating in both Swedish and English and enjoy creating and developing relationships. Your ability to think analytically, structured, and holistically is crucial, and you are eager to contribute new ideas to drive development forward.
