Payroll Administrator at the HR Department of Nässjö Municipality

As a payroll administrator, you will belong to the HR department of Nässjö Municipality. We are located in the city hall alongside other staff functions such as finance, administration, and much more.

In our department, we are about 15 people, half of whom work with payroll and the other half with HR. The workplace is characterized by a good atmosphere, curiosity, and helpfulness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a payroll administrator, you will work with the entire payroll process. You will be responsible for your own areas of operation but will closely collaborate with other payroll administrators. You will support managers and employees in payroll matters, which requires a consultative approach. Other common tasks in the payroll area include contact with authorities, various certificates, and system administration. The HR department is constantly working to digitize and streamline processes, so an interest in and knowledge of digitalization work is an advantage. We use Visma's software suite in our payroll and HR work.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have at least a high school education, preferably with additional vocational training in payroll. We also prefer that you have experience in payroll work within a municipality or region, and it is advantageous if you have experience with the payroll system Personec P (Visma) and knowledge of SKR's collective agreements.

To thrive with us, you must be positive, helpful, and curious. If you also have an interest in working with process development and digitalization, that is a big plus. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
