Your New Job

As a preschool teacher, you will have primary responsibility for the educational activities and ensuring that teaching and education are conducted according to the preschool's governing documents. Together with your colleagues, you will stimulate children's development and learning while providing them with a safe environment. The activities are based on a holistic view of the child and its needs, designed so that care, development, and learning form a cohesive whole. The preschool prepares the child for further education.

The team distributes tasks within the group and according to each profession. Planning, follow-up, and evaluation are carried out based on the intentions in the preschool's governing documents. Based on the pedagogical documentation of the team, a continuous, systematic quality work is conducted.

Warm welcome to us at Munksjöstadens preschool area. Our preschool area consists of Munksjöstadens Preschool, Ida Preschool, and Skeppsbrons Preschool. Our preschools are all centrally located in Jönköping's western district. The geographical location of the preschools provides excellent opportunities for both cultural and natural experiences. We are close to libraries, museums, and several of the city's green areas. The preschool area is also a VFU preschool for students from the University of Learning and Communication.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher; if you have not yet received your license, you are also welcome to apply. You contribute to a positive work environment, have excellent collaboration skills, and a strong commitment to your work as a preschool teacher. You help ensure that children have a safe and enjoyable everyday life with many elements of learning. Personal suitability is of great importance.
