Norrskolan is an F-5 school with two parallel classes and about 250 students. The school has a recreation center with two departments. The school is located in central Tranås, which means proximity to various activities and good commuting opportunities. We have the privilege of having study guides at the school who speak different languages, which facilitates communication with students and guardians. We are now looking for a new student assistant for our school!

RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will work as a student assistant to a student with ADHD. In your role as a student assistant, you will be a resource in the educational context and work together with teachers and other staff in both classrooms and recreation centers as well as other environments in the school. You will have close cooperation with mentors, special educators, and guardians.

The responsibilities include working one-on-one with the student, preparing schedules with visual support, preparing, guiding, and being close at hand to the student. You will be the student's support in interacting with others in social interactions, during breaks, and schoolwork. You will be a safe adult available to the student throughout the day, both at school and in the recreation center. The work is during daytime.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is trained as a childcare worker or student assistant, or has other relevant education as deemed by the employer. Previous experience working with students with ADHD or other NPF diagnoses is a merit. Previous experience with digital tools is a merit. It is a requirement that you have a good understanding of the Swedish language and can communicate fluently.
