Prolympia is looking for substitute teachers for primary school

Prolympia is Sweden's leading sports school at the primary school level. The school is independent and focuses on knowledge, security, sports, and health – and now we are looking for a new colleague to contribute to our activities. The school is centrally located close to sports arenas, Vätterstranden, and the Rosenlundsområdet. Here, 600 students from grades 1-9 attend, and we have 70 employees.

Job responsibilities

Substitute teaching at Prolympia means replacing regular staff in case of absence. The regular staff have the pedagogical responsibility, which means that as a substitute teacher, you will receive a ready-made plan. As a substitute teacher, you will receive an introduction on how to carry out your work. You will receive support from colleagues and school management. It is expected that you can lead and organize work in the classroom and collaborate with teachers and other staff at the school. The assignment is aimed at grades 1-6, 7-9, and leisure-time centers. Please indicate in your application which grades you are interested in.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone interested in working as needed in our activities. We prefer applicants with an ongoing teacher training but also welcome those with previous experience in working with children and young people. For employment, a record excerpt related to work in schools and preschools is required.
