Teacher for After-School Care at Östra School F-3

We are now looking for a teacher for after-school care at Östra School F-3. Like a Lego piece, you will be part of building our operations, together with other qualified and energetic educators. In our area, we have a drive to develop and work together to achieve the students' goals.

At the school, we have a close collaboration between teachers in school, preschool class, and after-school care. Now you have the opportunity to become one of the educators in this driving team.

At Östra School, we have about 180 students, divided into four buildings. We are centrally located in Vaggeryd, close to both a sports hall and the municipal library. Here, we work based on the motto "we are all equally different".

Your mission is to stimulate the students' development and learning during the early school years. Together with us, you will work towards a good operation in a pleasant and professional environment. In the municipality, we have targeted training efforts for our after-school teachers, focusing on developing our teaching through FDK, the After-School Didactic College, in collaboration with the University of Gothenburg.

Job Description

Your role will be to, together with your colleagues, manage and develop our work in the after-school care. You will be involved in driving the teaching based on our governing documents, with play, movement, and creativity. We focus on the student's entire school day and offer learning, social interaction, and recreation. We work proactively and preventively to achieve good goal fulfillment and well-being among our students. You collaborate with teachers in school and preschool class, as well as with our EHT team.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher in after-school care. You are an educator who focuses on children's early learning, development, curiosity, and values. As a person, you are proactive, create engagement and participation, and have a passion for outdoor play and break activities. Your communication skills are good, and you find it easy to collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents. In accordance with the Education Act, a extract from the criminal records register is required.
