For one of our clients, a leading global player in the energy sector, we are now looking for a Development Engineer for an assignment at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the current and future needs of the market. Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment with many development opportunities. Initially, this is a consulting assignment for about 6 months via Unik Resurs with a good possibility of extension. We apply continuous selection, which means that the assignment may be filled earlier than the application deadline.

Responsibilities and Duties

You will work as a Development Engineer for the acoustic system. This includes air intake, ventilation, CFD, enclosure, LER (Local Equipment Room), and bellows/chimneys. You will also contribute to maintaining the system's standards and our processes, work on cost reduction, and detailed technical solutions. The role involves many interfaces, both internal and external, and you will have a lot of interaction with other disciplines, such as other groups within Development & Standard, R&D, purchasing, order construction, service, and subcontractors. Many tasks are carried out in project form.

Your Profile

Requirements:

You have several years of relevant experience from a similar role and a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanics or similar.
You have a passion for technology and find challenges motivating. You are analytical and enjoy tackling technical problems.
You are a driven problem solver.
You are a team player who enjoys collaborating to solve technical challenges.
You appreciate working in a global environment with a large network.
You are a good communicator in both English and Swedish.
