We are currently seeking a qualified financial accountant on behalf of SAAB.

The position is based in Linköping, and our client needs to strengthen their finance department with a qualified financial accountant who can independently prepare financial statements. In this role, we offer you a varied and developing job with great freedom under responsibility. The consultancy assignment is initially for 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Main Responsibilities

• Review and improvement of Saab's procedures and processes in the area of value-added tax  • Ongoing accounting and reconciliations • Financial statements and reporting for the parent company • Calculation and reporting of corporate tax • Contacts with external auditors • Participation in various projects.

As a financial accountant at Saab, you will work with finance from a broad perspective, with a particular focus on tax and tax reporting. The position is suitable for you who appreciate having many contacts and want to take your own responsibility and initiative. 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a very good analytical ability, where structure and order are a given. For you, compliance with rules and deadlines is important, and you are responsible for your work. Since you will work closely with other colleagues and Saab functions, we see that collaboration and contact with others are something you find both enjoyable and important.

We are looking for someone with an academic or post-secondary education in finance. Furthermore, we see that you have around five years of experience from a similar position, and possess deep competence and a strong interest in accounting, particularly in tax. You need to have good knowledge of Excel and be proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
