About the position
This is a consulting assignment with good opportunities for permanent employment. In this role, you will initially be employed by Bravura, and it is stated that Monvir intends to offer you employment with them in the long term. About the company
Monvir Terminals AB is a player in port and terminal operations based in Skandiahamnen in Gothenburg. The company primarily handles goods for the paper and wood industries but also has a heavy cargo department that receives various types of cargo such as steel, machine parts, and project loads. The operations include several terminals adapted for specific flows, including timber, pulp, and heavy cargo, as well as the Värmland terminal in Vålberg, which serves as a strategic logistics hub close to both road and rail. The company was founded in 2002 and currently has about 100 employees with a turnover of around 240 million SEK. Monvir handles large volumes annually, corresponding to a significant share of Scandinavia's container exports.
Job responsibilities
As an accountant, you will be responsible for the accounting in 1-4 of the group's eight companies. You will work with the entire flow from A to Z, which means ongoing bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable, reconciliations, as well as monthly and annual financial statements. You will handle declarations for VAT, taxes, and employer contributions and prepare materials for the annual report. The role also involves producing reports and financial follow-ups to support managers and management.
In addition to the financial work, you will be an important resource in HR administration where you support production managers in personnel matters. You will be responsible for employment contracts, certificates, and personnel changes as well as for onboarding and offboarding employees. You will administer in the HR system and ensure that time reporting is accurate before payroll processing, which is handled by an external partner. The role also includes following up on absenteeism, rehabilitation cases, and staffing together with the production managers. You will also be involved in driving recruitment and onboarding processes and participating in the development of HR routines and systems. In the long term, the role may also involve contact with trade unions and support in collaboration issues.

Education, experience, and personal qualities
- Several years of experience in accounting and the entire bookkeeping process
- Experience in HR administration, preferably in similar tasks
- Driver's license and access to a car
For the role of accountant and HR administrator, we are looking for a person who thrives with freedom under responsibility and can switch between different tasks. Since you work with both numbers and people, it is important that you are open, honest, and flexible in your way of working and communicating. Monvir is a family business that is growing and developing, which means you need to feel comfortable in an environment where people help each other and where structures are still being built. The position is located at our headquarters where we currently have eight people, which means you work closely with management and colleagues, but do not sit together with the larger staff group out at the terminals.
