About the role of Sheet Metal Worker at Werksta Västerås

In the role of sheet metal worker, you will work with bodywork, repairs, and restoration of passenger and commercial vehicles. Our repair shop is authorized, and you will work in a safe, clean, and modern environment. As a sheet metal worker, you will be part of a dedicated team where we help each other and are driven by continuous improvements.

Responsibilities for Sheet Metal Worker – Bodywork, Car Repair, and Damage Management

• Perform alignment and replacement of body parts and repair and restore vehicles to their original condition
• Work with various materials and methods, such as steel, aluminum, plastic, and bonding
• Carry out both minor and major collision repairs according to manufacturer instructions
• Customer dialogue and documentation of completed work in digital systems
• Collaborate with damage advisors, painters, and mechanics for the best results
• Ensure a professional, safe, and efficient workflow
• Actively contribute suggestions for improvement and development of our repair shop

Qualifications for the position of Sheet Metal Worker at Werksta Västerås

• Education in vehicles or car damage, or equivalent work experience
• Work experience in car damage repairs/sheet metal work is a requirement
• Experience with modern materials and structural repairs is an advantage
• Driving license B is a requirement
• You work meticulously, with quality awareness and have a high sense of service
• Familiar with reading work orders and following manufacturer instructions
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• You enjoy working both independently and in a team
