Novum is a nationwide assistance provider that operates based on a Christian value foundation, with the ambition to make a difference for the individual, the industry, and society.

As part of Novum Assistans, you will be involved as an employee through regular workplace meetings where the development of assignments takes place. We as an assistance company create conditions for the tasks that assistance requires, in ongoing competence development based on the needs of the assignment. As an assistant, you will thus have the opportunity for personal development both as an individual and in your professional role as a personal assistant.

Working hours vary between day, night, and weekends. During the day, two assistants always work together.

The client is a man in his 50s who is in a wheelchair. He lives an active life with many activities and has his own car, which creates freedom in everyday life. During the summer, the client enjoys his vacation with his assistants, and various day trips are made. The assistant group is well-functioning with assistants who stay for a long time.

The assignment includes being the client's support in everything from daily chores, care, and personal hygiene to activities. Experience in similar care work and/or having a nursing assistant education is meritorious.

Who are you as an applicant?

We are looking for someone who has personal suitability for the assignment. For us, this means that you are responsible, empathetic, and attentive. It is important that you are punctual and can keep time but also flexible enough to sometimes step in to cover gaps in staffing. We see that you are a secure person and enjoy taking initiative, both independently and in collaboration with others in a group.

As a person, you are social, goal-oriented, attentive, patient, and can take your own initiatives. It is also desirable that you have good physical fitness, are cheerful, and positive. The chemistry and interaction between you as an assistant and the client are crucial for the quality and experience of the work.

You will receive training and introduction to the medical tasks and ongoing competence development based on the needs of the assignment.

• A driver's license is a significant merit
• Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement

About the Employment

Summer temporary position and on-demand employment during the spring.

On-demand employment is based on hours and as needed. Fixed-term employment during the summer weeks 28-32.

We offer a fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations according to collective agreements.

The selection process is ongoing, and more information about the assignment will be provided during a possible interview. Start date is according to agreement. For employment with Novum Assistans, it is required that you have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service.
