Frösunda Omsorg is looking for you who want to work as a residential support worker at the Enevadvägen group home, within LSS. The group home is located in Lövstalöt. We are looking for you for a 6-month temporary position at approximately 80%. There is a possibility of permanent employment after the temporary position.  Would you like to be part of our team? As a residential support worker, you work to support, motivate, and stimulate the individual's own ability to perform activities in daily life. You work to provide each customer with individually tailored support that helps them create structure, routines, and planning in their daily lives.

The group home accommodation is granted for individuals with various types of disabilities, which is why the individuals' skills, needs, and development guide our efforts. The goal is to create conditions for an active and meaningful life in a safe and pleasant environment.

The tasks for a residential support worker include documentation. Examples of tasks:

• Daily chores such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, making beds

• Documentation and reporting

• Excursions, walks, training, and activities

• Personal care such as hygiene, showering, toilet visits, support, social presence

• Support and motivate the customer for increased independence in their daily life

Working hours are arranged according to the customers' needs and vary between day, evening, and night with sleeping on duty, both weekdays and weekends. The operation has sleeping on duty. 

NOTE: To work at Enevadvägen, you need to have a B driver's license 

At the Enevadvägen group home within LSS, 6 customers live. The operation is located in Lövstalöt just outside Uppsala and has good communication links. We have a car that is used for excursions, activities, and shopping.  

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You should also be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed. You should be cheerful, positive, responsible, and have an easy time following routines and working methods. Furthermore, you need to be orderly and relationship-building towards customers, colleagues, and relatives. Like us, you need to focus on the customers' quality of life and work to create the best conditions for our customers in life. You need to be proactive and have the ability to see the big picture. 

• We prefer that you have education or ongoing education in healthcare and social services.
• Previous experience of working with LSS and having care experience is highly meritorious.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We prefer that you have good physical ability.
• Experience in low-arousal approaches is required.
• A B driver's license is a requirement 

Employment form: temporary position for 6 months with the possibility of a permanent position within Frösunda. 

Scope: approximately 80%

Start date: October 1

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
