JOB DESCRIPTION

The Medicine Clinic is an outpatient clinic with activities in specialist areas such as general medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, pulmonology, endocrinology, and rheumatology. The Medicine Clinic also offers health examinations, vaccination services, and certificate services. We accept patients with health insurance and through care guarantee agreements with regions, and as time permits, also completely private patients seeking care and treatment with us through self-referral. Our operations allow for collaboration with other specialist clinics within Carlanderska. At the Medicine Clinic, we have about 30 employees.

As a specialist physician in pulmonology, you will manage patients with various lung diseases. You will examine, diagnose, treat, and create treatment plans, inform, and advise. The clinic has experienced asthma/COPD nurses who perform spirometry including NO measurement, 6MWT, etc., and the hospital's radiology department performs both X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans including HRCT thorax. Bronchoscopies are performed in collaboration with the hospital's endoscopy unit.

At the Medicine Clinic, there is a good collaborative climate with other specialists in internal medicine, general medicine, endocrinology, rheumatology, and cardiology. Since Carlanderska also has good access to medical equipment, you have excellent conditions to provide patients with the very best care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed physician with specialist competence in pulmonology. You have several years of experience working independently with patients with lung diseases. You independently conduct and interpret findings during examinations. It is an advantage if you have previous experience from insurance care.

In addition, you have very good collaboration skills and are happy to contribute your knowledge and experience. Your customer focus is of utmost importance, where service, availability, and medical competence weigh heavily. As a person, you are secure and confident in your role, positive in your approach, and can contribute to a good climate in the workgroup.
