Do you want to make a difference and contribute to a safe and developing environment for people in need of support? HVB Torstensonsgatan is looking for a treatment assistant who wants to help create a stable and developing living environment for children and young adults.

HVB Torstensonsgatan provides residential interventions for children and young adults placed outside their own homes. The target group is "children and young adults" aged 16 - 21 who are placed under SOL or LVU. The primary mission is to create a stable and safe living environment.

Job Responsibilities

As a treatment assistant, you will work closely with the residents and base your work on their needs according to care and implementation plans. The role requires you to independently drive and carry out work processes, make decisions, and follow given guidelines and routines. The job also involves close collaboration with authorities within social services as well as other treatment units within Borås municipality, the region's health care, and schools. You will be an important part of creating a cohesive support system for the residents, where we meet their needs in everyday life. In addition to treatment-oriented work, practical tasks such as participating in the maintenance of the residence, including cleaning, gardening, and cooking with the residents, are included.

Additional Information

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting no earlier than 2025-04-01. Scheduled working hours of 38 hours and 15 minutes per week. There are cohesive work shifts scheduled during daytime/evening hours and as on-call overnight. Schedule planning is based on a 9-week rolling schedule with work 4 out of 9 weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is educated as a social/ treatment pedagogue or has other training and experience deemed equivalent for the position. Experience in social work related to treatment and care and work at HVB is an advantage. You should have good experience in meeting others with a flexible approach and experience working independently and with record-keeping. We wish for a colleague with an unpretentious attitude. You are attentive, able to pick up and trust your colleagues' experiences, and share your experiences and knowledge so that we can together carry out the daily work.

A police record extract for work at HVB will be obtained before employment.

A B driver's license is required for the position.
