We are now looking for a senior electronics designer to enhance Semcon's ability to design digital electronics. We are seeking someone who wants to make a difference for our customers in areas such as defense, automotive, and industry.

About you

We believe you have a strong interest in IoT and a passion for problem-solving. The hardware to be designed can range from powerful platforms with Embedded Linux for Edge AI applications to simpler cost-effective real-time platforms.

You will be part of Software & Emerging Tech in Gothenburg, where you will work alongside experienced and skilled individuals on challenging assignments with exciting customers. Currently, we have around 100 consultants in Gothenburg who specialize in electronics and software.

As consultants, we help each other where needed, and depending on the assignment, we work in-house or at the customer's site. Currently, about 50% of our consultants work in-house on around 10 different projects. Our customers range from small start-ups to global companies.

You have a passion for new technology and digital electronics with several years of experience, preferably with an interest in hardware-near programming. You have experience from various industries, such as industrial, defense, automotive, and medical technology. Furthermore, you have knowledge of various microcontrollers, real-time systems, etc.

You have work experience and knowledge of:

• Designer of digital electronics
• Microcontrollers and embedded systems
• Embedded Linux
• C programming
• Wireless communication, IoT
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Driver's license, B
