Job Responsibilities

As a care assistant in home care, you will be challenged with creative and enjoyable tasks. It is a flexible and varied job where you meet care recipients with different care needs and support measures. You put the care recipient at the center and work to achieve the best possible interaction. An important part of the job is to create quality of life in everyday life for the individual and to consider each person's conditions and needs.

The role of care assistant includes all tasks that arise within the operation, and you will work closely with other professional categories such as rehabilitation staff and nurses. The job also includes performing health and medical tasks by delegation. Since this is part of the care assistant's role, you need to have the necessary conditions to receive the medication delegations required by the operation.

Home care is a digitized workplace. Contact management, documentation, and implementation plans according to IBIC are tools used during the interventions and are done digitally.

The employment rate for the positions varies. Your working hours will be scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

Completion of the nursing program or equivalent education deemed comparable by the employer. You are familiar with applicable legislation and the national value base. Previous experience in elderly care is an advantage.

To work in home care, it is required that:

• You master the Swedish language in speech and writing; being multilingual is an advantage.
• You have a B driver's license. We prefer that you have mobile Bank ID and can use it in your work.

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented.
