As a personal assistant, you will have a varied job based on the individual needs, wishes, and implementation plan of the user. Our main task is to support and help the user achieve a good quality of life and a meaningful daily routine.

What can we offer you?

We are currently looking for a personal assistant for a longer temporary position as well as for hourly work with a woman who is deafblind. The job as a personal assistant means that you will work in someone's home. It is an important, meaningful, and stimulating job that consists of providing social services and care to a woman with deafblindness in her daily life. The woman lives in an apartment in the central area and communicates using tactile sign language. Braille, SMS, and data communication are also methods used by the user.

Other tasks included in the job are assisting with all household chores that occur in a home. You will also accompany her during walks, leisure activities, shopping, and medical visits.

What are we looking for in you?

In this role, the ability to communicate fluently in sign language is highly meritorious. Experience in using social-haptic signals is also an advantage.

You should also have some technical knowledge, e.g., be able to handle a computer, iPhone, etc. You will document in our documentation system VIVA, so experience in social documentation is desirable.

It is important that the personal chemistry matches the user, which means we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The user prefers female applicants.
