Job Responsibilities

As an educational leader, you will work independently but also in close collaboration with your colleagues and managers to develop and strengthen our LSS operations. You will act as an advisor and support for both unit managers and staff and contribute to integrating the social pedagogical approach into daily work.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Guiding and training staff in methods and approaches, both in smaller groups and during larger training sessions
• Identifying development needs and contributing to improvements at both the overarching level and in individual operations
• Supporting managers and staff during meetings with relatives and in discussions about the operation's methods and approaches

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an academic degree from a social pedagogical program, social work program with a focus on social pedagogy, preschool program, or other education deemed equivalent. You should have at least 180 credits, of which at least 30 credits are in pedagogy. Previous experience in a similar pedagogical role is an advantage.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Good knowledge of the target group of people with disabilities and relevant legislation
• A social pedagogical approach and good knowledge of methods and practices
• The ability to see the whole picture and consider the larger perspective
• An analytical and problem-solving ability to handle complex issues
• A cultural awareness and value diversity in background, culture, and group affiliation

A driver's license is a requirement for the position.
