JOB DESCRIPTION

Support Pedagogue for a new group home on Julianska Street

In the spring of 2025, the North-East district will open its new group home on Julianska Street. The building is currently under construction and will consist of 6 apartments. The target group is social psychiatry, which means individuals with mental disabilities, mental health issues, and in some cases, substance abuse may occur.

We are looking for someone who is attracted to the task of establishing routines and methods for a new housing project. As a support pedagogue, you will have overall responsibility for the pedagogical work within the organization. You will establish working methods and ensure that these are used and developed effectively. Together with the workgroup, you will establish, implement, and follow up on routines, action plans, and job descriptions. You will ensure that social documentation and implementation plans are established according to IBIC, further developed, and followed according to laws and guidelines. You will be a driving force in the unit's systematic quality work, as well as guide, quality assure, and support colleagues in social documentation.

Together with other support pedagogues in the district, you will be part of a support pedagogue network led by method developers. You will have contact with relatives, guardians, caseworkers, and home healthcare/rehab, and all other instances to ensure the user receives good care, support, and service. An important part of your assignment is to encourage and work for good collaboration with all individuals in the person's network.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for operational meetings and lead recurring follow-ups and evaluations of responses, approaches, interventions, and working methods.

The working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and every other weekend. We will have a flexible base schedule. The working hours are partly allocated to direct work with users in combination with pedagogical time. We use Time Care Planning for operationally adapted and flexible schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position of support pedagogue, a post-secondary specialization in the disability area is required, encompassing at least 200 YH points, 120 university credits, or a combination that corresponds to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 university credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for individuals with disabilities. The education should have relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education that the employer deems equivalent.

You also need to have knowledge of the legislation in the area and knowledge in MI, ESL, as well as knowledge and experience of working in a low-arousal manner. The position requires experience working in the psychiatric field. We consider it advantageous if you have experience with SIP (Coordinated Individual Plan) and consent, coercion, and restrictions. Some care may be involved.

It is advantageous if you have experience working in Treserva and with IBIC. Since a lot of documentation is involved, you need to have good knowledge of various IT support.

If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through the test user Educateit.
