We provide health-promoting and treatment interventions based on each individual's unique needs and circumstances, and we have specialist knowledge of how disabilities can affect daily life, health, and development.

Description

Are you a psychologist looking for a varied and educational job with children and adolescents? Then you are welcome to apply to Habilitation in Vänersborg! We are now seeking a licensed psychologist for a permanent position at 100%.

You will be part of a team of psychologists alongside experienced colleagues at the clinic in Uddevalla. You will receive an introduction with mentorship, peer supervision, and professional development alongside them and other psychologist colleagues in the region. The work is directed towards patients in Vänersborg, but if desired, placement in Uddevalla may be possible. The work is exciting, challenging, and varied. Supervision of psychology students may occur in the position. External supervision is offered.

The work is based on the needs of the child and family and involves assessment and treatment work as well as consultation and advice to individuals in the child's environment. The psychologist also plays an important role in providing information and helping the patient increase their knowledge about their disability. The work requires a high degree of independence and flexibility and occurs in close collaboration with municipalities, primary care, and regional care. Interventions are provided individually or in groups for defined periods. The work is performed in teams with other professionals.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed psychologist who wants to help develop our clinic and services. Experience working with patients belonging to the habilitation target groups is considered an asset. Other qualifications include an interest in neuropsychology, understanding the consequences of cognitive impairments in daily life, and experience working in interdisciplinary teams.

You have a good ability to organize and structure your patient work and collaborate well with other professionals in the team around the patient. You have a clear patient focus that is used in collaboration with the patient in choosing assessment and treatment methods. You work based on scientifically proven methods and clinical experience and have a good ability to organize and structure your patient work.

Since the work involves collaborating with parents, various professionals, and other healthcare providers, there are high demands for social skills and teamwork. The job requires travel, which means a valid driver's license (B) is required.
