Sjukhusen i Väster is a management within the Västra Götaland Region and consists of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. Approximately 3000 employees work with us every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare of the highest quality.

Are you an engaged gastroenterologist who would like to perform more endoscopies? As our current chief physician is planning for retirement, we are now looking for an experienced and driven replacement for our clinic to become part of our competent team.

Description

The endoscopy clinic conducts elective five-day operations in two adapted examination rooms with modern equipment. The clinic employs gastroenterologists, endoscopy nurses, registered nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. Each year, over 3000 examinations are performed, the majority of which are colonoscopies.

Responsibilities

Perform relevant diagnostic examinations and therapeutic treatments. Document and report examinations in relevant journal and quality systems.

Qualifications

We are looking for a specialist physician in endoscopy/gastroenterology with documented and several years of experience in practical endoscopy work. You should also have administrative experience and be well acquainted with the use of relevant IT systems/tools.

Furthermore, it is expected that you have good communication skills and enjoy working in a team, as well as the ability to follow established routines and carry a living commitment to contribute to a good working environment and high-quality care.

Employment Scope

Full-time daytime position, with the possibility of part-time employment.

Conditions

Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required for the position.
