About the Department

With us, you will have a varied and educational job.

Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday. Our clinic is located in nice premises in Olskroken. We meet patients with substance use disorders, and it is common for patients to also have other psychiatric illnesses.

Our patients can be offered psychological and psychosocial treatment, occupational therapy interventions, pharmacological treatment, and assessments. A large part of our psychological and psychosocial treatment interventions are provided in groups. Our daily work also involves collaboration with other actors. All treatment is conducted in the spirit of Motivational Interviewing.

This is a flexible job where you can help steer a large part of your workdays yourself. Work is conducted during the daytime. On Mondays, the clinic is open until 18:15. On Fridays, we have a shorter workday as the clinic is open until 15:15.

You will gain access to the latest knowledge in addiction conditions and treatment methods, and you will have good opportunities to deepen your understanding of the subject and contribute to the clinic's expertise. The department encourages and offers further education in areas such as relapse prevention, motivational interviewing, and MET.

Job Responsibilities

As a social worker with us, you will conduct psychosocial assessments and treatment work based on the patient's addiction condition and mental health.

You will keep the psychosocial perspective alive within the clinic's interdisciplinary team, and monitoring the children's perspective is a given aspect. Your daily work with us may include both individual patient visits and group interventions for patients.

A large part of your work will involve being the primary care contact for patients. This means being the patient's primary contact at the clinic. Together with the patient and the rest of the team, you will create a care plan that applies to the patient during their time at the clinic. Guide the patient and, together with the team, connect the right interventions based on needs. Participate in care planning and network meetings with, for example, social services and other actors.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker. Further education in psychiatry is an advantage. We prefer that you are a licensed healthcare social worker. Previous experience in outpatient care or social services work with addiction issues is also considered an advantage.

As the work requires teamwork, it is important that you have good collaboration skills while also being able to work independently towards shared goals. You have a good ability to analyze and communicate your analysis/assessment to other team members. We value a work climate built on engagement, a positive attitude, as well as curiosity and interest.
