Role Description:

We are looking for a senior consultant with solid experience in IT governance and process development, who wants to contribute to further developing and strengthening ITIL processes within a development department in a larger organization. The focus is on creating structure, traceability, and clarity throughout the process chain within IT development and operations.

In this role, you will have overall responsibility to define frameworks, guidelines, and strategies for ITIL processes in close collaboration with development management and other stakeholders. The work is based on a holistic perspective on IT development, lifecycle management, and operational operations. The aim is to create good conditions for delivery teams - such as agile teams and trains - to work efficiently and with high quality throughout the development chain. This encompasses both older, established environments and newer cloud-based platforms.

The organization is in a modernization phase where the IT architecture is gradually upgraded, combining traditional systems and modern technical solutions in a cloud environment. The assignment involves a significant contribution to this transformation work.

• Deep knowledge of ITIL processes, such as: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, user support, and handling of service requests
• Experience in leading the work to establish and further develop IT development processes, preferably with strategic responsibility and a holistic perspective
• Familiar with working in both traditional/legacy environments and modern cloud-based environments (e.g., DevOps, CloudOps)
• Good understanding of testing strategies and quality assurance in various types of technical environments
• Ability to create consensus between IT development and business operations, particularly regarding incident management, prioritization, and user support
• Experience in change management in complex organizations, including communication and training efforts related to modernization and organizational development
