We are looking for a senior platform architect within ServiceNow with a focus on GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) for a larger implementation program in the banking and finance sector. The assignment is strategic and architectural, aiming to establish sustainable GRC capabilities in line with the platform's architectural principles as well as regulatory and operational needs.

You will be part of a ServiceNow program and work closely with the program architect, other platform architects, and a dedicated GRC project with project manager, Tech Lead, and solution architect. A central principle is to maximize the use of ServiceNow's standard functionality (out-of-the-box) and minimize customer-specific customizations to avoid technical debt and facilitate future upgrades.

• Take architectural overall responsibility for the ServiceNow GRC domain and ensure that solutions adhere to the platform's overall architecture.
• Develop, document, and anchor architectural guidelines and design decisions.
• Support design and quality assurance of GRC processes and solutions in ServiceNow, with a particular focus on IT risk.
• Ensure compliance with platform standards, architectural principles, and CSDM.
• Participate in platform-wide architectural dialogues to create context and consistent development across different ServiceNow areas.
• Act as an advisor to program, technology, and business roles on GRC-related issues.
• Work with GRC focus areas such as Privacy Management, Risk Management, Business Continuity, and Operational Resilience, including requirements related to DORA.

• Documented and practical experience of GRC in ServiceNow.
• Experience working as an architect or lead specialist in ServiceNow implementation projects.
• Several years of experience with the ServiceNow platform from an architecture and design perspective.
• Knowledge and practical experience of Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and its application in ServiceNow.
• Good understanding of how standard solutions (OOTB) are used to minimize technical debt.
• Ability to work consultatively in complex program and collaboration environments.
• ServiceNow certification: CSA (Certified System Administrator).
• One or more CIS certifications (Certified Implementation Specialist) in GRC.

• Additional ServiceNow certifications, such as CIS Data Foundation (DF) or equivalent.
• Experience with SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) in ServiceNow, preferably with relevant certification (e.g., CIS in SPM).
• Experience from the banking or finance sector.
• Knowledge and practical experience of DORA and how the regulations can be implemented in ServiceNow.
• Experience in Operational Resilience in larger organizations.
• Experience with ServiceNow self-hosted solutions, including architecture and operational and lifecycle considerations.
