As an IT service provider to other government agencies, we are scaling up and strengthening our capabilities with new employees who want to shape, develop, and deliver modern and secure IT. With our mission as a delivering authority, the requirements for providing secure and resilient services are increasing.

The role of Continuity Manager within IT operations is part of the IT service operations section at the Swedish Tax Agency's technical service unit. Together with the entire business layer of the Swedish Tax Agency (Product Managers/Service Managers), you will ensure the development and management of products and services to maintain operations at the Swedish Tax Agency and connected authorities during major or minor disruptions.

The Swedish Tax Agency uses an agile framework where IT collaborates with other departments in agile development value streams. You will help shape the ongoing transformation journey in the new phase that the Swedish Tax Agency is entering.

The role is closely linked to security, IT security, and the Swedish Tax Agency's mission as a preparedness authority. The area of continuity is central to our preparedness capability, and trust in our systems is the foundation for being able to deliver continuously under difficult circumstances. In this role, you will review our capabilities and ensure that we follow guidelines while driving technical requirements to achieve the continuity goals within IT that the Swedish Tax Agency has in its mission to society. You have a broad competence in various technologies, can communicate, analyze, and find answers to difficult questions while also looking ahead to high continuity requirements. You will lead tests and analyze results based on the requirements set to guide the development of systems towards a resilient solution that meets tomorrow's threats.

You will belong to the IT department, located in Sundbyberg.

About you

You should also have:

  • relevant post-secondary education in IT, or several years of current and relevant work experience in the IT field
  • several years of current and relevant experience working in continuity, resilience, or a similar role
  • current and relevant work experience with agile working methods

It is desirable that you have current and relevant experience working in a large complex organization. It is also desirable that you have relevant work experience collaborating with security, IT security, or other compliance-governing bodies. Current and relevant experience working with Continuity Management is also desirable.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
