About the job

As the RTE for the Swedish Tax Agency's “STT train,” you will lead our largest agile release train that delivers management, operations, and development. You create a positive work environment, support team well-being, and provide guidance to ensure we meet our goals. You coach both the entire train and team members, teach agile methodology, and contribute to developing our delivery capacity. In choosing methods, you balance the practical with the analytical to select the most suitable approaches.

You will plan and facilitate our PI planning in an inspiring and efficient manner that creates value and transparency. You continuously work on following up and improving our efforts towards our common goals and priorities. Feedback and retrospectives are seen as natural parts of a journey to become better, and you build relationships that foster engagement. You work data-driven and create success recipes for how we develop both within our teams and within our Agile Release Train (ART).

You will belong to our large IT department, the Swedish Tax Agency's technical service unit located in Sundbyberg.

About you

In this job, you should:

  • have a good ability to collaborate with others, be receptive to others' opinions, and communicate constructively
  • lead, coach, and coordinate to achieve common goals while creating engagement and participation
  • independently plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively and ensure that set deadlines are met
  • have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, see patterns, and be able to make delineations
  • be meticulous, have a good understanding of goals and quality standards, and ensure that they are adhered to
  • have good communication skills and be transparent and clear in your leadership and sharing
  • express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish

You should also have:

  • current and relevant multi-year work experience as a Release Train Engineer/Product Owner/Scrum Master or equivalent
  • relevant post-secondary education in IT, or alternatively, several years of relevant work experience in the IT field
  • worked in a large organization with agile change management or equivalent
  • place great importance on a data-driven approach, having experience working with support systems to extract data used for analysis and continuous improvements of workflows and increased flow
  • successfully implemented changes resulting in both more efficient workflows and an engaging work environment

It is desirable that you have certification or equivalent in one or more agile frameworks, preferably within SAFe. Competence in IT operations is also desirable. Experience working with tracking and visualizing information from Jira and ServiceNow is also preferred.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a hiring decision. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
