Huddinge municipality works with the governance and collaboration model PM3 with the aim of creating better conditions for business development with the support of digitalization through common working methods.

The Security and Safety Section has a mission to lead and support work with safety and security issues by working strategically and governing on a municipality-wide level. Our area of responsibility is broad and aims to strengthen democracy and legal security. This role, as a business-oriented project manager for security and premises, gives you the opportunity to work with digitalization across several operational areas that contribute to changing society and the future, as well as contributing to a safe, secure, and robust municipality.

About the jobThe position as a business-oriented project manager for security and premises is placed in the Security and Safety Section, unit protection and preparedness at the municipal executive office. The municipal executive office is responsible for governance and central support to the entire municipal organization. The Security and Safety Section includes the areas of safety, crime prevention, physical security, BID, civil preparedness, data protection, information security, and objects.

In your role as a business-oriented project manager, you will find yourself in a complex operation with many stakeholders, clients, and requirements. The project manager leads the work of the object and is the driving link between the operational processes and IT. Security and premises work with several different areas of the organization's operations within the framework of the object's operational area.

In your daily work, you collaborate with other resources within security and premises and develop and manage relationships with functions and key personnel within the line organization. Together with the IT project manager, you form a project management team that leads the project work and reports to a steering group. Responsibilities include preparing materials for planning and decision-making, needs assessments, agreements, and collaboration with new and existing IT suppliers.

Your profileWe are looking for someone with relevant academic education or equivalent, as well as experience in working with strategy and business development through digitalization. You have good leadership skills and have successfully completed projects in digitalization. You have experience managing the entire lifecycle of IT services to achieve effective and operationally supportive systems. Previous experience as a project manager in the PM3 model is a merit, as is experience in project and change management.

As a person, you are flexible, structured, and have an easy time collaborating and building good relationships. You work proactively and systematically. You enjoy having varied tasks and drive your commitments to completion. Your approach is opportunity-oriented, and you have a desire to contribute to change and development. You are a good communicator with the ability to create engagement and understanding among both operational representatives and colleagues in other parts of the organization.

It is an advantage if you also have previous experience in:

• Working with models/frameworks for object management such as PM3
• Experience in developing, implementing, and following up on project plans
• Experience from public administration and working in a politically governed organization
• Experience in project management and procurement
• Experience in robotics (RPA) and automation of IT services
• Experience in the field of safety and security
• Experience in system management
