Are you passionate about networks and communication and do you enjoy keeping up with the latest technology? Are you willing to challenge customers with new technology and solutions? As our customer grows, we are now looking to strengthen our consulting team, which currently consists of seven people in Infrastructure and Networking. We are looking for a senior network consultant who wants to become our star in the field.

In the role of Senior Network Consultant, you will work with our clients, both on-site and remotely. You will work on everything from design/architecture to management and assist with your deep expertise in Routing, Switching, LAN, WLAN, and firewalls based on technology from several major manufacturers such as Cisco and HPE.

Therefore, it is important that you are good at handling tempo changes and enjoy the approach of pitching in wherever needed.

We are looking for someone with at least 10 years of experience as a network technician who is accustomed to managing larger, complex networks within Cisco. You should also be experienced in designing and configuring solutions from scratch. You are technically inclined, self-driven, service-oriented, and resilient under stress. You will take significant personal responsibility in your work and work both independently and in a team. We also place great importance on personal qualities, that you bring new energy, and that you are a good team player.

To be suitable for the role of Senior Network Consultant, you need to have broad and deep knowledge of networks and security. You need to have expertise in:

• Routing (preferably advanced)

• Switching

• Firewalls

• Wireless networks

• MPLS

• Routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP

• HPE/Aruba products

• Cisco products (e.g., Nexus, ISE, Meraki, and WLC)

• Documentation of networks

It is required that you have experience as a consultant and advisor in the field of networking. Certification is an important foundation for us, and you must have a CCNE certification or equivalent for other products within Cisco or HPE/Aruba. It is also required that you can express yourself well in both spoken and written English and Swedish.

If you also have experience in the following, it is a plus:

• Outsourcing

• Cloud (Azure, AWS)

• PPS project model

• Sophos firewalls and security
