Job Description
We are seeking a senior consultant who, based on their extensive experience, wants to work with the company to further develop and strengthen their ITIL processes within the Development Department.
In this role, you will have overall responsibility to, in close collaboration with Development Management, set frameworks, guidelines, and strategies for their ITIL processes – from a broader perspective on IT development, lifecycle management, and operations. You will create conditions for their delivery organizations – such as agile teams and agile trains – to work effectively and qualitatively throughout the development chain, whether it concerns established legacy environments or modern, cloud-based solutions.
The company is in a phase where they are modernizing their IT architecture and working in both established and new technical, cloud-based environments. With your experience in leading and developing complex IT organizations, we believe you can help them take the next step.
Relevant Competencies
Deep expertise in ITIL processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management, user support, and service requests.
Solid experience in leading the work of building successful IT development processes, preferably with strategic and overall responsibility. Experience in establishing and improving IT processes in both traditional/legacy and modern/cloud-based environments (e.g., DevOps, CloudOps). Good understanding of testing strategies and quality assurance in various technical environments.
Strong ability to create consensus between development and business operations, particularly around incident management, prioritization, and user support. Experience in change management (including communication and training) in complex organizations undergoing change and modernization.
Personal Attributes & Leadership
Leadership that inspires learning and development.
Excellent communication skills and a pedagogical approach.
Relationship-building and unpretentious, with the ability to build trust and collaborate across departmental and organizational boundaries.
Structured and analytical, with a focus on finding solutions and improvements together.
Driven and self-sufficient, with the ability to lead both teams and change processes towards common goals.
Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
The assignment reports to the BIO - Head of Development and is carried out in close collaboration with the Head of IT&QA and the Head of Delivery and Development Management.
