Unika Sparvsångsvägen is a group home with five places according to LSS 9§9. The group home is located in a pleasant residential area in Linghem, close to nature.
Here, support educators and support assistants work around the clock. Our employees have knowledge in clear pedagogy, are engaged and attentive, and place great importance on interaction. About the role of Support AssistantAs a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, and always have their personal implementation plan as a starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we start from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clear pedagogy and low-arousal responses to create security and predictability in the users' everyday lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the organization.
Qualifications
- Very good ability in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills, experience in documentation.
- Experience in care and support work.
- High school education such as child and leisure program, care and support program, or post-secondary education such as support educator, social educator, or university education in a relevant field.
It is a merit if you also have
- Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.
- Worked with complex support needs.
Employment conditions
Employment type: Temporary position that may lead to permanent employment Working hours: As agreed Work schedule: Day, evening, weekend with sleeping on-call duty Start date: As agreed, we look positively on if you can start shortly. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
