Job Responsibilities
As an economist in the marine materials business area, you will work to maintain and develop financial support for the project managers in the organization. You will assist project managers in their projects related to financial issues concerning financial planning, monitoring, and analysis. In addition, you will work on analyzing and developing forecasts and preparing financial documentation for follow-ups. You will ensure that the financial processes in the area are followed and developed.
In the role of economist, you are an important part of promoting an efficient supply chain through contacts with external parties and contributing your expertise to the delivery process.
The position is based in Stockholm.
We are looking for someone who
Has a university degree in economics or equivalent competence acquired in another way that we deem comparable. You have experience working with financial and business systems and have relevant experience in analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. Furthermore, you have experience in project budgeting and planning as well as follow-up. You have worked on providing financial guidance and advising employees on financial matters related to projects. You have good knowledge of Excel and financial reporting. You have good knowledge of Swedish.
We see it as an advantage if you have experience working with financial control models and economic governance. It is a plus if you have experience working with government financial administrative regulations and knowledge of economic investigations, but this is not a requirement for the position.
As a person, you are service-oriented and have good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you are self-sufficient in your work, place great importance on maintaining quality standards, and are stable by focusing on the right things. We place great importance on personal qualities.
About Us
The Marine Materials business area designs and procures technical maintenance and develops and acquires marine systems for the Armed Forces. With professional employees, we carry out and develop operations together with other FMV and in close collaboration with the Armed Forces and industry. The goal of the operation is to ensure effective and economic optimization of how materials are procured and assembled into complex systems that meet high demands for availability and security.
