to apply for the job
Are you a whiz at automation and enjoy seeing your solutions come to life – both on screen and in reality? At Elektroautomatik, you will dive straight into complex projects where technology is at the center and no two days are alike. We are looking for someone with a few years of experience who wants to continue developing in an environment where knowledgeable colleagues, large clients, and groundbreaking technology are part of everyday life.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
As a programmer with us, you will work on longer projects alongside other automation specialists. It’s a delightful mix of desk work, testing in our workshop in Skövde, and commissioning at the client’s site. You are an important part of the project team, collaborating closely with project managers, designers, assemblers, and other programmers.
A project can span several months, sometimes a whole year, giving you plenty of time to really get into the technology, understand the client's needs, and deliver a solution you can be proud of. You will program PLCs, work with robots, and often also with vision and servo systems. If you have skills in electrical engineering and pneumatics, that’s a big plus.
As a more experienced programmer, you also have a natural responsibility in the projects and often act as a technical leader. You will help plan, guide junior colleagues, and be an important technical sounding board.
WHO ARE YOU?
You have been working with automation for a while and feel at home in programming environments for PLCs and robots. Perhaps you also have experience with vision, communication solutions, servo systems, or electrical design – this is an advantage, but not a requirement.
The most important thing is that you enjoy solving problems, collaborating in teams, and that you thrive on the variety of switching between workshop, office, and client environments. You are self-driven when needed, but also enjoy working closely with others in projects. You see client contact as a natural part of the job.
You have:
- Several years of experience in PLC programming
- A background in automation and/or robotics
- A good understanding of industrial processes and customized solutions
- Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good technical English
