We are now looking for two support workers to join our wonderful team at Alarp. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference!  About Alarp  The facility is beautifully located in a nature reserve in Linköping. Six individuals with various needs live there, all of whom are adults with neuropsychiatric disabilities who require support and care in their daily lives. The staffing is high, and there is staff present around the clock. 

About the role As a support worker, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff members, you will work towards making each day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks will also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends according to the needs of the facility. 

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in health and care or another equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow.  

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our clients' best interests in mind in everything you do.
