Solåsvägen accommodates six individuals under LSS. Our target group falls under LSS p.1 and comorbidity.
Solåsvägen is located in a quiet residential area with a reasonable distance from the center and shops.
At Solåsvägen, a secure, stable, and competent team works.
The operations manager and staff work salutogenically, and the strength lies in a warm approach and great sensitivity to the individual's needs and wishes. The staff is structured, and each day is carefully planned with the users. We work with clarifying pedagogy and maintain a low-arousal approach towards users and each other.
The accommodation offers individually tailored support and encourages participation in an active leisure time both individually and collectively. Various activities take place on and off the premises every week.
We actively work with support person roles, user participation, and self-determination, and together we create common approaches and mutual respect in the accommodation. Solåsvägen accommodates six individuals under LSS and is located in a quiet residential area with a reasonable distance from the center and shops.
About the Role of Support AssistantAs a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals in their daily lives with the aim of promoting their independence, participation, and well-being.
You will support users in their daily routines and activities based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources.
The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with a high quality of life.
As a support assistant, you will work based on clarifying pedagogy and a low-arousal approach to create safety and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the organization.
Qualifications
- Secondary education such as Child and Leisure Program, Health and Care Program, or post-secondary education as a support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.
- Driver's license
- Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills, experience in documentation.
- Experience working within LSS.
- Knowledge and experience in meeting people with comorbidity.
- Knowledge and experience in working with a low-arousal approach
- Experience with complex support needs
- Experience and knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses and addiction and how it can affect individuals in their daily lives.
- The ability to see and meet individuals with complex support needs.
Employment Conditions
Employment Type: Permanent with a six-month probationary period Working Hours: 50-100% Working Time: varying, day/evening/weekend and sleeping on-call. Start Date: By agreement, we look positively on if you can start soon. Collective Agreement: We are bound by the collective agreement with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
