Attendo Hammarby nursing home is located in the western part of Västerås. The old park environment has been preserved since the 1950s and provides a beautiful outdoor setting for the residence. Our starting point is to take advantage of the healthy, and we encourage our residents to live as active a life as possible.

Job Description

We are now looking for employees who are interested in working on an hourly basis as needed, are nursing assistants, and have experience in elderly care.

Attendo Hammarby nursing home in Västerås consists of a service house with 31 apartments, a nursing home with 21 places, and a group home with seven places for people with dementia. There is a restaurant and a meeting place that serves as a gathering point for social interaction for those living in the service house and nursing home, as well as for people from outside. At Attendo Hammarby, dedicated, competent, and service-oriented staff work in teams consisting of various competencies.

You need to have a burning interest in working with the elderly. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as computer skills. The work requires a good ability to work independently, while you are also part of a team and contribute to the overall functioning.

We are looking for service-oriented, responsible employees who also contribute to a positive work environment. Teamwork is the foundation of our working method.

Experience in elderly care is an advantage. We place great emphasis on approach, flexibility, and good collaboration skills.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked in elderly care. Great emphasis is placed on approach, communication, and documentation in the journal system.

• Requirement is that you have Nursing Assistant education
• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)
• Good computer skills
• Advantageous if you have previously worked in elderly care
