Job Responsibilities

As a nurse in BUP outpatient care, you work with the child in focus, from start to finish. Your tasks include medical follow-ups for children and adolescents with varying psychiatric issues, counseling, and advice. You have close collaboration with various professional roles and external cooperation with schools, social services, and other healthcare providers. The clinics have teams with social workers, therapists, nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and psychologists.

We have an increased focus throughout BUP to modernize work methods and increase accessibility for patients and relatives who seek our services. This means that you, as a new employee, will be part of a development journey where we think innovatively and work together to achieve our goals.

About the Workplace

BUP in Västmanland is county-wide with clinics in Sala, Västerås, Köping, and Fagersta. There are also specialized units, inpatient care places, and an emergency department. Our goal is to provide care tailored to each child's specific needs. We work based on evidence and proven experience and are characterized by a health-promoting approach.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working as a nurse, preferably within BUP. Our work is governed by documents that are often in Swedish, and therefore you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is also advantageous if you have previously worked in the Cosmic journal system.

We see you as a secure, stable person with good self-awareness. You work well with other people, relate to them, and communicate in a responsive, clear, and smooth manner. You have a good ability to lead and motivate others and the courage to act according to your own convictions. The role requires the ability to structure and plan your own work effectively and flexibly.
