Job Description

As a district nurse or nurse, your duties include telephone advice, appointment booking, district nurse clinic, and digital chat via 1177 Direct. In your role, you will meet patients of all ages with different needs. No day is the same as the other, and the work involves a variety of tasks throughout the day. You will work both independently and as part of a team with other staff categories at the clinic, and development work together is an important part of the daily work.

The 11 regionally operated health centers in Västmanland are run as an intrapreneurship with a board and Region Västmanland as the owner. We have a common name, Närvården Västmanland, and we work together to provide our patients with the best primary care in the county. We continuously invest in the development of our workplaces to meet the future primary care needs.

Närvården City is one of 11 health centers with over 15,000 listed patients. The facility also has a branch clinic in Skultuna where we currently offer this position. Our listed patients are a mix of the local elderly population and an increasing influx of families with children who value the locality and the services offered, including our branch clinic.

Qualifications

You, as an applicant, are a licensed nurse with further training as a district nurse or a nurse with solid experience, or have other education relevant to the position. Experience in primary care is a merit for the position. You master the Swedish language in both speech and writing, and you preferably have experience with the Cosmic journal system.

Terms of Employment

The position is a permanent full-time position with entry by agreement.
