We are now looking for a school psychologist for a 1-year temporary position.

As a school psychologist within the city, you will belong to the Central Student Health Services. Those of us working here are school psychologists, special educators, speech therapists, hospital teachers, HRV coordinators, and system specialists in Prorenata. Our mission is to provide daily support and guidance to principals, student health teams, and educators in our municipal primary schools and adapted primary schools. We are proud to offer you a large team of 15 psychologist colleagues. This means that we have incredible strength and competence for the task. RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will be part of the support team for primary schools and work on behalf of the school principals. Here, you have the opportunity to become an important and appreciated resource in preventive and health-promoting work. Through a consultative approach, you will guide principals, educators, and work teams based on your profession as a psychologist, of course in close collaboration with the student health teams. To create the best possible conditions for our students, you will analyze learning environments and work on action and improvement proposals. You will conduct your own surveys and investigations regarding individual students, primarily cognitive assessments.

What is special about you in this position is that you really get to contribute at the individual, group, and organizational levels. You become part of school development and work strategically with student health work. Naturally, you have collegial learning from your colleagues at the Central Student Health Services, both in the form of your psychologist colleagues and also from our other professions.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed psychologist and have experience in psychological assessments (testing). It is a great advantage if you have experience in supervision. Work in school activities or with children and young people is advantageous. You have a good understanding of how to approach each student based on their conditions and are responsive in collaboration with others. When setbacks occur, you remain motivated and can act independently when needed.

Before being employed, you need to present an approved extract from the police record of convictions.
