With us at Vardaga, you will also have engaged colleagues and skilled managers, training, career opportunities, and several benefits.

About the role You are the spider in the web of the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. Regularly, you conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operation.
Collaboration and support You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you provide each resident with the best possible life. In this, you work closely with the home's group leaders who are responsible for the care staff. Our group leaders also coach and work alongside the teams in their daily work.
We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. One course we can offer you is “Leading without being a manager.”
Getting to know the residents Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical conditions is often crucial for making accurate assessments and decisions.
Clear routines To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is extensive support in the form of practical and easily applicable routines, governing documents, and checklists. Our quality management system is called Qualimax and is industry-leading.
As a new nurse with us, you will participate in our digital introduction program together with your mentor to ensure that you receive a clear introduction with the goal of quickly getting into the work and our routines.
"Good collaboration is the most important thing." -Annelie Stavås, nurse and group leader, Gothenburg

Our residents are often multi-sick, and it requires that you have both general knowledge about various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience in documentation are important.
We wish that you
- like to work independently and have the freedom to shape your workdays
- are confident in your role as a nurse and can make quick decisions and discuss with the responsible doctor
- take initiative, have guts, and dare to take charge
