We are currently looking for you to take responsibility for an important part of the finance function at an international company in the insurance industry for a parental leave cover! You will work closely with accounting, administration, and other colleagues within finance, in a team that values collaboration, humility, and a good atmosphere.

Where? Stockholm (hybrid, approx. 3 days/week in the office) When? By August 25, 2025, until August 2026. Employment type? Consulting assignment via Delta Consulting that may lead to employment depending on internal needs.

About the role

• In this role, you will have primary responsibility for managing and following up on payment flows through the company's internal logs and templates. The work is mainly done in Excel, where you compile information and match bank transactions against documentation from administration.
• Reconciliations every month and some involvement in year-end closing work
• Reconcile data from various sources in Excel and compile simpler reports
• Approximately 75% of the position consists of financial work, the remaining 25% can be adjusted based on interest (e.g., process development or other administrative tasks)
• You will work in an international company and are expected to use English daily.
• No customer contact

We are looking for someone who

We believe you are a meticulous and self-driven person with an interest in structure, numbers, and processes. You enjoy working with repetitive tasks and have an easy time keeping things organized even when the flow is high.

You likely have:

• Previous experience in finance or administration, or relevant education
• Good understanding of debits and credits, but advanced accounting skills are not required
• Basic knowledge of Excel (e.g., formulas, sorting, filtering)
• Fluent communication in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing

You are a person who:

• Is responsible, structured, and comfortable with routine work
• Is helpful, loyal, and unpretentious
• Takes ownership of your tasks
• Enjoys working in a team and contributes to a good atmosphere

About the team and working method

You will become part of a small and close-knit finance team with colleagues in both Stockholm and abroad. The team has close contact with other parts of the organization and supports each other in daily tasks. Colleagues enjoy having lunch together, helping each other across boundaries, and having fun at work!
