About the Company:
Got City Centers Hotels is a family-owned business that operates hotels. Our headquarters is located in a central area of Vasastan, Gothenburg.
We are now looking for a sharp Payroll and HR Manager with some experience in accounting for our group. We currently have 9 hotels across the country and about 150 employees.
The Position:
As our Payroll and HR Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the payroll process and support our managers at our hotels throughout Sweden with HR and payroll issues. You will handle payroll for both workers and salaried employees and interpret collective agreements within the hotel & restaurant sector (HRF-Visita, Unionen-Visita).
Your role will also include managing the company's ongoing accounting together with a junior accountant. You will report to the CFO.
Responsibilities:
- Management of all parts of the payroll flow (e.g., reporting, travel expenses, etc., to payroll payment)
- Ensure that the payroll system is updated
- Stay updated on labor law regulations
- Support and assist managers and employees with questions regarding payroll, agreements, pension and insurance issues, and benefits
- Administrative responsibility for employee training and follow-up
- Vacation management, year-end, control reports
- HR administration such as contact and updates with the Social Insurance Agency, Tax Agency, Fora, and Collectum
- Participate in HR projects as needed
- Ensure that new employees receive information about regulations and routines regarding payroll and benefits
- Other HR administration, e.g., updates of policies and routines, employee handbook, etc.

To succeed in this role, you have experience working with payroll and accounting systems, as well as a good understanding of how Payroll, HR, and Finance are interconnected. You are structured, meticulous, and self-assured – and ensure you stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
You enjoy improving and quality-assuring the payroll process, preferably by using the right tools and creating smart, sustainable solutions. You are solution-oriented, quick to learn new systems, and find it enjoyable to discover new ways to simplify work.
