Your responsibilities

Cover classes for absent teachers from F-class to year 9 in all subjects. Clear instructions and cover plans are always provided by the permanent teacher.

Summary about you

You have a valid work permit to work in Sweden, a recent police clearance check as required by law when working with children.

We are looking for substitute teachers that can work when required. This is an opportunity for someone who has experience working with children, would like to try what it’s like to work as a teacher, perhaps studying to become a teacher and looking for some extra work, and enjoys working in an international environment. English is our working language, so it’s essential that you are fluent in English and Swedish.

We are looking for an individual who preferably has some experience working as a teacher, is calm and easy to follow instructions, is fluent in English and Swedish, comfortable working with children aged 6-16 years old, agrees with and is comfortable with IES ethos.

Preferably has experience in the teaching profession. Is calm and easy to follow instructions. Has good knowledge of English. Wants to work in a calm environment: "Where teachers can teach and students can learn".

Can understand and work according to IES ethos.

We are looking for substitutes who can work as needed.

This is an opportunity for you who want to try the teaching profession, are a teacher student and want to work a little extra, enjoy working with children and youth in an international environment. We are looking for substitutes who can step in as needed and teach all subjects.

We are a F-9 school. Everyone who works with us needs to be comfortable teaching in these age groups. We are primarily looking for you who have experience in the teaching profession. Is calm and easy to follow instructions. Has good knowledge of Swedish and English.
