Department 23 - S:t Göran's Hospital Area

Department 23 is located at S:t Göran's hospital area and our target group is individuals over 65 years old with mental health issues.

We work with assessments, treatment, care, collaboration with healthcare neighbors and relatives, rehabilitation, and often somatic comorbidity. Together, we create a qualitative care process with the patient in focus.

Job Responsibilities

You will work alongside nursing assistants/healthcare assistants.

In the care team, you will work together to provide patients with good and safe psychiatric care and nursing.

Responsibilities besides nursing work include coordination and collaboration, support conversations, planning, documentation, and supervisory responsibilities, among others.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained nurse/specialist nurse in psychiatry/geriatrics with an interest in elderly psychiatric patients. Other qualities we highly value are flexibility, good collaboration skills, a psychiatric approach with an interest in somatic care, natural leadership ability, and personal suitability.

Conditions

Work hours are scheduled nights with a 4-week schedule, 12 nights over four weeks with the fourth week being a free week.
