The Härryda Future operational area consists of the Unit for Financial Assistance, the Employment Unit, Adult Education, and Higher Vocational Education, and we are now looking for 2 temporary social workers for the financial assistance unit.

The Unit for Financial Assistance has a good collegial cohesion with great engagement, competence, and knowledge. We enable a stimulating and responsible job, where competence development and environmental monitoring are an important part of our work. In our unit, we have knowledgeable social workers as well as coaching senior social workers and a manager who trusts your ability and competence and helps you grow in your profession. We sit in bright and nice premises in central Mölnlycke, close to shops and restaurants, as well as good public transport connections. Our unit currently consists of 8 social workers, one senior social worker, and one unit manager. We offer you a meaningful, exciting, and varied job in a small municipality with short decision-making paths. The social services and our unit are facing exciting development work ahead with a new social services law, where you and your colleagues are an important part of our joint improvement work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a responsible person who feels comfortable and secure in the role of an authority practitioner. Two of our social workers are going on parental leave, and we are looking for a temporary social worker for our follow-up group and a temporary social worker for our reception group.

The work consists of investigating the right to financial assistance and, above all, you will work purposefully with the self-sufficiency assignment where the individual, you, and other actors collaborate to achieve the best possible result. Our work is characterized by close contacts with other partners, both within the municipality and with external actors. We have a well-developed job seeker program within the Employment Unit.

You will receive support in your work through close leadership and from your colleagues, who have many years of experience in social work and authority practice. We sit in bright offices with our own rooms, and we also offer wellness grants and external supervision. In Härryda municipality, we have competitive salaries. QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying have a degree in social work or similar education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You should have experience working with authority practice and therefore be well-versed in the legislation of the area. It is an advantage if you have current experience in the area of financial assistance and self-sufficiency assignments. It is important that you feel comfortable with work that often involves meeting people with dignity and providing good quality despite a high pace with high demands on documentation and legal security. You have the ability to work independently based on goals and guidelines and are a good partner in collaboration. You are a positive and secure person with a high sense of service and responsibility. As a colleague, you are open and flexible and contribute to a positive work environment.

A driver's license is an advantage.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
