On May 1, 2024, we started the assignment “Basic Maintenance of the Railway Facility Stockholm Mitt”, an ABT 06 Total Contract. It involves the stretch from Ulriksdal - Älvsjö, Citybanan, and during a period of the contract term, also the stretch from Tomteboda-Sundbyberg. In total, it concerns 128,358 track meters. Today, we are about 40 people including site management working on the project. This is Sweden's most trafficked railway stretches where long-distance trains, regional trains, freight trains, and commuter trains coexist. On line 401 between Ulriksdal and Älvsjö, there are 50 railway bridges, 31 road bridges, and 11 tunnels. The stretch also includes the well-known Getingmidjan, which is crucial for the entire country's train traffic. We also have a contract on line 409, namely Citybanan with the tunnel under central Stockholm where the stations Stockholm Odenplan and Stockholm City are located. This stretch is mainly trafficked by commuter trains.

Your role with us As Electrical and Safety Coordinator at Infrakraft, you will play a crucial role in systematically following up on the contract's safety work based on applicable laws, regulations, and requirements for the execution of work within the Swedish Transport Administration's facilities. You will participate in special meetings regarding electrical and traffic safety issues, actively drive issues related to electrical and traffic safety with all staff and with our client. The majority of the position involves office work during the day but is also performed out in the facility at night.

This is a new position within the railway industry on behalf of our client to reduce accidents on the railway. Therefore, there is an opportunity to influence the content of the position within the framework of safety issues.

Qualifications and personal qualities:

• Expert in electrical and traffic safety issues
• Experience in accident and incident reporting, Fact collection
• Good habit of driving your work forward and taking responsibility for your tasks
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Driving license B

We consider it an advantage if you are Sos-P, Sos-L, electrical safety leader, and fact collector.
