Avarn Security is tasked with delivering security services to Stockholm Arlanda Airport, which includes staffing with Airport Security Officers, Protection Guards, and Security Guards. For many years, we have also provided security services to Malmö Airport (Sturup), Sälen Airport (Scandinavian Mountains Airport), and Oslo Airport Gardermoen.

We are now looking for more colleagues to join our team who want to contribute to the safety at Arlanda Airport. We offer you an exciting job as an Airport Security Officer at one of Sweden's largest workplaces.

The work is based at Arlanda Airport where you will work in the security checks as an Airport Security Officer. Your main task as an Airport Security Officer is to ensure that no unauthorized persons pass through the security control and that all prohibited items are stopped, together with your colleagues. In this role, it is important that you are attentive, stress-resistant, and have a high security awareness. We see that you are a responsible person with a strong focus on your work. The job is physically demanding, and during a workday, you will be standing and walking for most of the day. There will also be some heavy lifting involved.

As a person, you are cheerful and positive and enjoy working with people. You want to contribute to providing everyone with a professional reception, from the frequent business traveler to the family going on their first trip. You can combine security and service, thereby creating safety for both travelers and colleagues through your high security awareness.

The employment begins with mandatory training for 3 weeks, which includes both theoretical and practical parts. Avarn covers the training costs, and you will receive a salary during this period. After completing the training and practical experience with satisfactory results, you have the opportunity to start working.

Working hours vary, and you must be prepared to work very early mornings, with the most common start time being 03:50. You will work shifts according to a fixed schedule, working both weekdays and weekends.

We offer part-time employment, 50% or 70%, starting in early 2026.

To be considered for the position, you need to:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have Swedish citizenship
• Be without a criminal record and law-abiding
• Be able to communicate well in Swedish and English
• Have good health and physical condition
• Not have any payment remarks or unresolved debts
• Have a passing grade in Swedish and English at the high school level or equivalent educational level
• Have functioning color vision and hearing

To work at Arlanda, a successful security clearance is required, which means you must be able to verify your employment over the past five years. This must be documented in the form of certificates, grades, or equivalent that document the period from November 2020 to now.
