At AFRY National Security, we assist actors in both the private and public sectors with planning and management of work related to security protection. The purpose is to help actors protect security-sensitive operations against espionage, sabotage, terrorist crimes, and other offenses that may threaten operations, as well as protection in other cases of security-classified information.

Job Description

In the role of a security protection consultant, you will:

• Conduct security protection analyses, develop security protection plans and security protection instructions.
• Identify threat scenarios, such as intelligence operations, insider issues/prevention, or technical intrusions.
• Propose and implement security protection measures within information security, physical security, and personnel security.
• Act as an advisor in security-protected procurement and management of security protection agreements.
• Develop methodological support and conduct training on the fundamentals of security protection.
• Work operationally with security protection in close collaboration with the client's operations.

You will work on one of our client projects/assignments, and we have clients operating in sectors such as energy, defense, and central authorities.

Qualifications

Some requirements we want you to meet: 

• Several years of work experience in security protection within the public or private sector.
• Have very good knowledge of the Security Protection Act (2018:585) and associated regulations.
• Have experience working with information security, physical security, and personnel security 
• Have strong analytical skills and are accustomed to expressing yourself clearly in both speech and writing.
• Have relevant academic education.

Meritorious:

• Training in conversation techniques, insider prevention (personnel security), training in ISO270001 (information security).

The position may, in some cases, require you to undergo and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations. For positions where the client requires security clearance, this may, in some cases, imply requirements for specific citizenship. 

We are looking for employees in Stockholm/Solna and Västerås.
